I live in Mallorca and took the chilly bottles with me on a hike/beach excursion for the day. The bottles were in very little shade all day and the water that I put in the bottles was only cold from the fridge (not ice water) and the water stayed very cold all day. I was very happy with my purchase as even through the outer casing of the bottle was warm, the liquid inside was very cold.
