I bought 2 chilly bottles from a small shop locally - a Christmas present for my daughter-in-law and one for me. I let my daughter-in-law choose the colour she wanted on Boxing day and kept the other. The only time I used mine was on holiday in January to keep water cold, which was great. Because of the lockdown, it wasn't used again until 2 weeks ago. I used it for coffee for the first time understanding that it kept it hot for a long time. Unfortunately, although the flask was in perfect condition, my coffee went cool within 3 hours. I tested it 3 times and it was exactly the same.
I took the flask back to the shop a week ago and he said he would contact Chilly, who were very good. When I went yesterday, he said to pick another one, but I wanted to make sure he was reimbursed by Chilly. He said they couldn't help as the flask was over 6 months old! I think this is appalling, particularly as because of the lockdown it was never tested for hot drinks. He gave me another one, which appears to be fine. As I bought it from a small shop, I felt bad taking the new one and because of this, I will not be buying anything from Chilly again, due to their very poor customer service!!
