I ordered a butterfly-extending table in oak colour, and it's just what I was looking for. When not extended, it is small and compact enough to fit in my small kitchen. If and when I do want to extend it, the butterfly extension is simple and straight-forward to use. The only (minor) issue I have is that it moves too easily on my laminated floor; I would have preferred it to be a little heavier and more stationary. Otherwise, it is near perfect.
