I always say that you only know how good a company is when you have a problem.
Well I found out today!
Firstly, I needed the bed in a hurry and was really happy that I could collect it from the Corby warehouse, just 20 minutes down the road from me.
The bed was very well packaged and was super quality but we noticed a manufacturing fault in one of the long side bed boards.
I sent an email and photos to the helpline who said to package everything up in anticipation of it being collected.
The bed had been unpacked in the bedroom and the packaging already bundled into the garage for a dump run.
So it would have been a huge inconvenience to pack everything up. I pointed this out in a further email and rather than putting her jobsworth hat on, she checked with her manager who agreed with me and it was decided that I could return just the offending part.
Hurrah!
I trundled off to Corby this morning expecting a swift change over
which didn’t happen! The only one left in the warehouse had a small paint chip so they set about rectifying the problem, removed all the fixings, resprayed it which made it as good as new.
The warehouse manager offered me a cuppa which I gratefully accepted and offered to deliver the item this afternoon once it had dried properly.
It duly arrived about 10 minutes ago, along with the warehouse manager who reassured me that the item was now in perfect condition.
Although the whole event wasn’t perfect, I’ve still awarded 5 stars as they listened, provided excellent customer service in a very professional manner and achieved the result I was looking for.
Oh, and I got a great bed!!
