How many previous CIPD members know that if you don't cancel their membership you will need to pay for all the time it was not renewed in order to renew membership again in future (yes Cancelling is not the same as Not renewing to them)? Well I certaintly didn't know and neither they have informed me that there is debt on my name in their system.
So now I am cornered by CIPD and being forced to pay for services I have not received in order to be able to continue my studies. Talking about fair treatment... CIPD does feel like a monopoly in HR world.
