Sign up and the billing works seamlessly through Con Ed. Keep an eye out for the renewal contract coming in the mail every year, but you are best off doing the actual renewal by telephone. I let it expire once and, although they remained my supplier, the rate went up, so I telephoned and set up a new contract. In other words, it's not quite Set it up and forget about it, but almost.
