After many years of using CNP and being very impressed with the Recovery bars I thought that'd I would try the recovery shake, mainly due to the increase in training load now that I've moved from Olympic distance Tri to IM distance I find I need more than a bar to hit the critical recovery period immediately after training or an event. At first the product seemed quite good, ie; well packaged, smelt nice and the nutri info was pretty decent (hence why I thought I'd tri it, excuse the pun) however on my first experience of the shake it tasted awful and even worse, the recovery effect it had on me was bare minimal! After 2 weeks of using the product every day I found that the effecitiviness of the product was just not enough for me and I didcontinued using the product. I still however use the Pro Recovery bars (caramel) religiously whilst combining them with another recover shake I'm trialling.
