As I have only recently started working with the Cobalt profiles, my wealth of experience is of course still very limited.
But what I can say with certainty is that, thanks to Cobalt, I can finally get really nice reds out of my Olympus camera. That really is a dramatic improvement!
It's just fun to get to grips with another aspect of photography and image processing. It's a hobby that never gets boring!
