*** WARNING *** *** WARNING *** *** WARNING **** TO ANYBODY THINKING OF ORDERING FROM THESE PEOPLE, PLEASE READ BELOW! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I have just had the most terrible experience, I only wish I had discovered these reviews before placing my order for a mobility scooter for a few pence short of £1,700. I'm very disabled and my order was time sensitive, I needed this scooter quickly and the "CompleteCareShop" whom I'm now going to refer to as the "In-CompleteCareShop" said it was IN STOCK. In fact I'm looking at their website right now and it still says "ITEM IN STOCK NOW". But you see my fellow reader, this particular item IS NOT actually in stock and I feel this deceived me in order to get my business. So on 26.08.2019 I placed my order, and I got a confirmation email pretty much straight away and I felt quite happy. The next day I'd heard nothing about a possible delivery date, so I decided to contact them through their web site, only to be ignored. 29.08.2019 (09:07) Placed telephone call and spoke to a lady. I explained the situation, I was put on hold briefly whilst she made enquiries. She came back to me and said it's ordered directly from the Manufacturer and there is an ETA of 10th Sep!! I said, but your Website said the Scooter was IN STOCK! (it still does) She'd got nothing to say, no explanation and no apology!. I said that I'm unable to wait that long so I'm going to have to cancel my order. She can't do this though, she has to email their accounts person to do this which can take a day or two!! Later on that day .. 29.08.2019 (16:19) Called to confirm refund has been issued, because nobody has let me know as they promised. On hold 10 mins. I was told I won't be issued a refund until the order has been cancelled with the supplier at their end FIRST! WHAT !!! WE'RE TALKING ABOUT NEARLY TWO THOUSAND POUNDS HERE!!! Disgusting, my refund should be issued no matter what, they should then deal with their own supplier, this process should not hold up my refund. They were quick enough to take money. 30.08.2019 (17:00) Rang back again, still my refund hasn't been placed. The lady just kept saying it's on the Tracker, and it will be done. She kept apologising. Now nothing is going to be done until Monday. 03.09.2019 (16:15) Rang back, same old story.. they're unable to refund me because they haven't heard back from the supplier. I still haven't had the refund. 05.09.2019 Rang back again, same old story.. told them I want to speak to their manager, surprise surprise they're in a meeting. Somebody called Paula is going to ring me back. I threatened them with trading standards! Still I never received a call back, promise after promise and nothing. I asked to speak to a manager twice on two separate occasions, each time they were either out or in a meeting. I rang the "In-CompleteCareShop" a total of five times. I'd had enough, if I'd ordered it from somewhere else THAT ACTUALLY DID HAVE IT IN STOCK I would have had it by now. Fortunately I'd ordered the scooter through PayPal so I called them, they were EXCELLENT. PayPal opened a case against the "In-CompleteCareShop" in order to help me get my refund. I would reccommend anybody placing an order online through PayPal if possible, as they automatically give you purchase protection in cases like this. Finally on 10th September some 13 days after Cancelling, PayPal receive my refund but it still hasn't hit my bank yet (11th Sep) So I'm still not able to place an order yet with somebody else. I felt it was my duty to let anybody who is thinking of placing an order with this business what they could possibly be up against.
