Ongoing issue regarding return of adjustable bed. Unsuitable for 86yr old gentleman who is unsteady on his feet. The bed is too high and the bed moves easily across the floor when leant against. So totally unsuitable! Tried to arranged for return. Was told that as the item wasn't in 'unopen' condition (White glove service was paid for on delivery-£120) wrapping was obviously removed when installed and taken away by fitters!
Was told would need to pay a further £120 for collection and removal. Agreed to this, Gaynor customer service advisor was my named contact (based Preston area) passed the request onto engineers for collection. She has yet to confirm/return my many calls. Rang several times, spoke to other advisors, who assured me they would pass my concerns to Gaynor via email and phone call. No one has returned my calls. I have constantly had to chase this up. This is still ongoing. The aftersales return service is a joke.
