While taste, texture and purity of the meat was great, for me personally I like to trim and gristle tendons, fat and/or bone from the cut. Once I'd done all that on the 250g pack you sent, left me with less than 200g of meat. So for a family of three that tries to stick to around 300g portion for all of three of us per meal(100g each), meant that one of us had to miss out as there simple wasn't enough meat. On hindsight maybe we should have ordered two packs. But realistically we won't be ordering venison again, purely based on the amount of wastage than none of us eats, wants or can use.
