This chicken arrived as part of a larger order and is, so far, the only item that we have cooked and eaten. It was absolutely superb! Great flavour and texture, with plenty of chicken left (after feeding 5 of us) for two more meals. The juices from the bird made a wonderful gravy. Before roasting, I covered the bird with butter, squeezed the juice of a lemon over it, and then put the lemon halves, some garlic cloves, fresh sage and thyme inside the breast cavity; during cooking I basted frequently. We all agreed that it was the best roast chicken we'd had for a long time, perhaps for ever! I'd like to add that the box that the chicken and everything else arrived in was superbly packed. It was immediately obvious that great care and attention is paid to every order. Many thanks to all involved.
