I have been with CX for 18 months which was extended for health reasons which I cannot fault CX for their support. I am however unlikely to renew next month for several reasons 1, the renewal cost of £2400 incl VAT is really far to high for a single owner driver, especially when you add the Insurance and business van liability costs. 2 to win a job the agreed cost is far too low, lucky if you can get 60 to 70p per mile 3 I have not worked much through the CX platform in recent months due to finding jobs through my own methods which are more lucrative. If the cost for renewal of membership was reasonable I would continue to use for maybe return journeys, but at the current cost of the platform and not allowed on a monthly basis this is not viable. 4 The system could be so much better if CX were able to adopt minimum rates but £40 for an 80 plus mile journey that takes 2 1/2 hours is not a reasonable price.....taking into account time and distance to the job, fuel costs, and time lost bidding for follow up job......
