EDINBURGH BRANCH GEORGE STREET BREAKING THE LAW UNDER 2015 consumer act legislation on faulty damaged products returned within 28 days :- Doesn't get worse than this , sold a faulty item that had damage to the cuff "stone island " returned a week after purchase all tags in place not worn the manager said nothing just started filling in a form I asked him what was happening he said he needed to return it to the supplier and would hear back within 7/10 days . Today I received a call from him saying that the damage must have been done by my son and was not going to offer a replacement or refund . I told him that was not true and the item was not checked at the point of sale . He told me that was it and if we didn't pick the item up within 3 weeks it would be destroyed . Appalling ! And after reading the other reviews not the first person to be treated this way . This is backstreet trading , you go to any reputable place they refund or replace straight away with the receipt. Be warned we never expected this and are now going down the legal route . Useful 1
