I was in hospital after I became seriously unwell. This was pretty much straight after my policy started with Darwin. Due to my illness being live altering, I had to sell my car. I was a few days late in getting in touch with Darwin to tell them about this, they are trying to take a £50 cancellation fee from me, this is after me being with them for a few years without a single claim. There is nothing like kicking a loyal customer when they are already down.
