WARNING: ONLY pay by PayPal and don’t hesitate to use PayPal’s claims process to get your money back when Debenhams fail to deliver what you ordered. First and last order. Never again. Awful experience. Ordered online two months ago, well in time for my mother’s 75th birthday on 21st December. The flowers didn’t arrive. She was at home all day waiting for them. They had still not arrived by the next day – not that that mattered – my mother’s birthday is 21st December and no other day and flowers arriving after her birthday are pointless. Thank God I paid by PayPal. When the tracking showed that they still hadn’t been delivered by 10 am the following day I put in a claim via PayPal’s Resolution Centre and after a few days I got a refund of all my money - thanks to PayPal, I might add, not thanks to Debenhams. No coms from Debenhams, except the standard email acknowledgement of order. No coms from them since, even with a claim raised against them. Truly appalling customer service. It just goes to show you how much they value your custom. They despise you. I wish I’d read all the negative comments about this company on all the review sites before entrusting my mother’s 75th birthday flowers to them. I will NEVER make the same mistake again and I urge anyone thinking about ordering flowers from here for delivery to PLEASE DON’T. If you’re tempted, at all, in any way, pay by PayPal to be sure of your money back when Debenhams fail to complete the contract, and don’t expect anything resembling a service from them. The company gives the appearance of being run out of someone’s back bedroom. Don’t hesitate to make a claim when they don’t hold up their side of the contract. These people need to learn that this is not the way to run a flower delivery business, and they will only learn that if everyone who has received dreadful service from them puts in claims against them and takes to social media with a bad review. Pay by PayPal only – it’s the best way to get your money back when things go wrong. In summary, an awful experience with this company. Nothing but disappointment. Please don’t put yourself through the hassle of ever ordering from here. Go somewhere trustworthy and capable when it comes to something as special as flowers for delivery. This company is anything but trustworthy or capable. I wouldn’t trust them to sit the right way on a lavatory seat.
