I live over 5,000 miles away and so sent flowers online for the birth of my grand-niece. I paid a little extra for the X-Large size bouquet; a vase (I didn't want her to be distracted from her new bundle of joy to have to look for one to put the flowers in), and next-day delivery, so that my niece would receive them the day she got home from hospital. My niece was delighted with the flowers and free chocolates that came as part of the package, the free teddy bear was even a decent size, not - the tiny, token thing I had half expected. I'm VERY pleased, as the bear will be a reminder of me as my grand-niece grows up.
