Flowers were for my Nan, the flowers were nice but the delivery was I nightmare. I paid for express next day delivery as I knew she would be in all day but also with a request for the driver 'To be patient' with her being elderly. Everything was looking fine until I got an email that day to say my flowers were being the delivered the next day with no explanation & due to opening hours I couldn't ring to ask why it would be the next day with no attempt to deliver when I requested! I had to end up telling my Nan of her surprise delivery so she stayed in all the next day, then I got an update at 10.20am to say they would be delivered between 10.10am-11.10am, so 10 mins after the flowers were due, followed by an update 5 mins later to say no-one was in & the flowers went back to the depot however, my Nan had been in. I couldn't arrange to have them delivered to a shop near her as they wanted my I.d as I ordered them which is ridiculous when the majority of the time people order flower deliveries for other people, not themselves. I had no choice to re-arrange them for the next day which was now days after her Birthday, and where again she had to stay in all day & cancel her doctors appointment. When they were eventually delivered the delivery man knocked quietly so Nan barely heard the door even though she has a doorbell which he didn't use & she barely got to the door when he was getting back in his van so wasn't patient, makes me wonder if this is what happened previously. So I paid £6 extra for express delivery when there was no intent to deliver the next day, no care or consideration & a massive inconvenience to my Nan & me which ruined the whole surprise. So not happy!
