I bought a Meaco DD8L desiccant dehumidifer 15months ago for my boat. It was completely reliable and worked so well that I have bought another for my cellar. The controls are easy and the humidistat works well. The one on the boat is left all winter draining into the sink with no problems and the heat it produces is useful for frost protection. The one in the cellar needs emptying every 2-4 days (less when it is very cold as any air influx is drier).
