After seeing a social media advert, I completed the skin questionnaire to see if there was anything that could help. After finishing 18 months of breast cancer treatment my skin needed help. I’m coming up to 45 and I feel I have aged these past two years and was hopeful that Dermatica could assist with that. After the consultation, I received an email with further questions to answer. It turns out I have rosacea that’s been exasperated by the treatment. I’ve always had slightly flushed cheeks, but just used to slap on corrective concealer and that was that! I know it is going to take at least 3 months to start seeing a difference, but what has the past 5 days brought? A HUGE difference in hydration. I also purchased the Nourishing Kit and SPF and these work seamlessly with the nighttime prescription treatment. My skin switched from oily to being as dry as the Sahara desert after chemo, but it is now for the first time post treatment, plump, supple and super soft all day. My morning routine is cleanse, serum, moisturise and SPF50. Evening is double cleanse, treatment and moisturiser. I find I have to use more moisturiser in the evenings as after the treatment has soaked in. Maybe Dermatica can produce a night cream as well as an eye cream in the not too distant future? They will certainly be in my basket if you do. So next it’s a case of keeping up with my routine and taking monthly photos so I can see the positive changes. Glad I found Dermatica and would highly recommend.
