I recently bought a pair of "Roamers" Desert Boots from the company "Desert Boots", who I'd never heard of before. the service was fast and efficient, the price very good for what you got, and the boots - the prime reason for this review - Desert Boots are Desert Boots, that covers a multitude of sins; but these are better than most, comfortable straight out of the box, good cleats on the bottom to prevent slip/get a grip on the grip on the ground (most have flat soles that grip nothing, fine in hot weather but any wet areas - rain, drizzle snow etc. can be disastrous). down points (there are always some) flat laces and too long for my style of use, but that's easily solved - good stuff para-cord!! Oh yes I've got another couple of a different style on order from the same company - says it all really!
