I initially got a S, seeing as the measurements in the size guide were perfect for me, but found it so tight, especially around the waist, that I could barely get them on, let alone move freely. So I sized up to a M, which is still very compressive on my legs, but a little loose around the waist, so feels like it wants to slide down a bit. Still, they are wearable, well made, and the fabric is soft. The strange sizing means I probably won't be purchasing again, however.
