Yesterday I found my ticket to Chile and Brazil via skyscanner.net from where I went to TravelJunction to book.
The price was very much lower than anything else, so I was a little suspiscious. However, I had a chat as I was booking with Nancy Young who assured me that a 23Kg suitcase in the hold was included in the price.
I bought a ticket to Santiago via São Paulo and then from Santiago to Goiania via São Paulo and then a flight from Goiania to London, again via São Paulo. The cost was £970.02 which was about £350 cheaper than anybody else!
I showed my wife my reservation and she asked me if I had checked any reviews on TravelJunction. I furtively had a look and the reviews were terrible, so I became very worried. However, 15 minutes later I received my e-ticket and went onto the LATAM website to check that all was in order. Everything was fine, the baggage was included and I was able to reserve my seat on all but the internal flights in Brazil for no payment. They wanted £8 for the internal seats so I have left it. I am travelling alone so it doesn't matter where I sit on the short flights.
This morning I received an ATOL certificate.
I have no idea why all the negative reviews when my experience was as good as anybody could want.
