Horrendous buying experience. Sent an item that was damaged and finished appallingly.I contacted the company directly initially, who said it needed to be returned to them - return postage paid by myself - not a problem one might think - but the box would have fitted 3 adult men in it and cost more to do than the chair itself! Also - contravening the distance selling regulations. I sent photographs within 2 hours of receiving the item but were impossible to negotiate with. Kept advising me it had been checked before leaving warehouse....if it was it must have been by a man with a white stick! So, I had to raise a dispute through Paypal who also had photos and correspondence and duly refunded me swiftly. So, avoid Direct Home Living like the plague - they are unscrupulous, unhelpful and ignorant-of-the-law merchants. Also, finally, the chair - although cracked and chipped upon arrival, was not the colour shown on the webpage and the quality was cheap and very sub standard.
