Great little book that covers a very wide range of jobs, that will be of interest to any homeowner. The book is split into two parts, the first covering basics such as tools, electrics, plumbing, brickwork etc and the second is a step-by-step guide for useful projects. Throughout the book are boxed areas with tips and insights, which should help making decisions and avoiding costly mistakes. As a keen DIYer, I dip in and out of the various sections and take what I need, but there is plenty of information for all levels and you certainly pick up some great tips and ideas. The only thing that would make this book better for me, would be to make it even bigger!
