I used the service to create a prototype copy of my novel as a gift. The end result is great. The creation process was testing.
Uploading the book was the easy step.
Using the tools I encountered problems. Because the text fonts are limited, I made my title stand out by layering the text in two tones. Once I had it all lined up perfectly, on generating a preview; the layers were flipped.
After two attempts at reversing this, which takes time given how basic the tools are, it flipped the layers again. So, I gave up and just went with the alteration.
The tools could do with a layer function (like in PhotoShop), and a more extensive list of fonts to choose from.
Also, an opacity function would be beneficial so you can see the boarder you are stretching your cover image into.
The printed copy looks like a real book and I am very pleased with the quality.
