The Bradford Factor is a scoring system used to measure unplanned absence at work. HR teams can use an employee's Bradford sickness score to flag when their time off has become a cause for concern, and react appropriately.
The formula is designed to highlight frequent instances of short-term sickness absence e.g. Mondays & Fridays, allowing HR teams to investigate the validity and take action accordingly.
