They use your details to make unauthorised debits.
My elderly uncle purchased some masks from one of their newspaper inserts over the phone. They then phoned him and signed him up to a book club (he declined three times); they sent him books anyway; and charged his debit card without authorisation. He then had to go out to post them back as no phone number or email on the paperwork.
