I bought an Eckman extending hedge trimmer as a special offer through the Daily Mail and it worked reasonably well although I probably only used it about twice a year. After three years and approx. six times of using it, the battery refused to charge and, as I was unsure whether the fault lay with the battery or the charger, I sent an email to Eckman via the 'contact us' button on their website to obtain advice or alternatively purchase a new battery/charger. I followed this up this email with another having received no response. With no reply again I then changed tack and wrote to Eckman's sales email address. Still no reply. I have now sent four emails to them over a period of nearly a month and they can't be bothered to reply, however, they did send me an email asking if I wanted to buy any of their product range so someone has seen my email address! If you are looking for a company that will provide a quality after sales service I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm going to buy another hedge trimmer from a different company as I can't be bothered to keep up this one sided dialogue.
