This is a lovely cottage which is well maintained with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay inc plenty of storage for all our own things. We quickly felt at home not least because of the warm but not overwhelming welcome from the owners. There are great coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket on the door step as well as handy bus stops to take you into city centre and beyond. The Shore is a lovely historic location and on lazy or rainy days there is plenty to do round about inc 5 min walk to Ocean Terminal. I almost wish the weather had not been so kind so we could have just stayed home at Timber Bush, curled up on the sofas, watching films and reading, but maybe we will get to do that next time?
