The flat's nice enough, quite small but makes good use of the space. Unfortunately, we couldn't work out how to get a decent shower. Perhaps the pressure on the boiler was low, but we couldn't get hot water for more than a minute at a time. It didn't help that hot and cold weren't marked, and it takes a long time for the hot to come through.
None of the taps is labelled for "hot and cold", which is OK if you live in a place, but bad for visitors. The handle on the living room door is placed where you catch your knuckles when closing the door. The bed has a ridge down the middle, so it slopes down toward either edge. Oh, and the lighting wiring in the kitchen looks dodgy - one light over the sink worked intermittently. There's a radio provided, but the aerial isn't adequate.
On the positive side, Ii's a good price, and in a good location (if you don't mind the long climb up the eight flights of stairs). It's nice that free Internet access is provided, and that it's easy to use.
Oh, and the "ceramic hob" is actually an induction hob, which is nice.
