We were met upon arrival by the landlord of the flat who was very nice and helpful. He provided us with a great deal of detailed information about the flat and the city centre. The flat itself was very spacious with 3 bedrooms- each with a double bed and 1 with ensuite, a kitchen, and a living room area with Virgin Media Satellite. It is in a nice area with a Morrisons supermarket only a 5 minutes walk away and a bus stop approximately 200 yards down the road. The only minor downside was the location as we were always having to take buses or taxis into the city centre. However it is not a million miles from the centre (around a 15 minute bus ride at £1.40 per journey) and taxis cost approximately £10 to reach all the main destinations. Overall though I have to say the flat was very good value for what we paid (£170 for a weekend) and the Landlord was extremely friendly and approachable.
