It was very disturbing to be told I was seriously pre-diabetic, realise I had to sort it out through diet, but then be given my next blood test in 3 months. So I went on a radical no/ very low carbs diet and bought this to check in and see how things were going in the meantime. It WAS SO REASSURING to be able to find out my blood glucose had come right down into normal range. I calmed right down and had oodles of motivation to continue. I cannot recommend enough, as scary as it is, being able to check your levels for yourself. Cheap bit of priceless kit!
