I started off ordering an engagement/wedding ring for me that turned out to be a bit big. Instead of trying to figure out how my customs returns thing would work (Finland) with the local government, I ordered a second one, 1 size smaller, so that I would be prepared for the day my fingers would grow too fat and my ring would be too small (my partner can't claim I'm not planning for the long term with her :p). The rings are very reasonably priced after all. However, I was dumb enough to order the wrong ring (I was tired and it was a one-word difference in my defense), so imagine my disappointment when it arrived. I was a bit worried about having a negative experience associated with my wedding/engagement ring, but it turned out to be a very positive experience, as Etrnl customer support was very nice and the company, in my opinion, went above and beyond to satisfy my needs.
