Overall, it does the job! This is my 2nd bumper (wanted a different color), dropped the first one several times and never once was my phone damaged. It's also relative slim and keeps the phone from slipping out of my pocket. My only knock is that the coating on the hard plastic tends to chip even without any abuse. So aesthetically, it doesn't look as nice.
