The SPAG books helped identify any areas which needed extra learning. Having seen the format and layout, pupils were less anxious about the SATs paper. Sometimes I'd just pick out all the ones about one area and do those all in one go, to show how the questions might be presented. Well worth the money. Increased pupils' confidence, reassuring them that they knew more than they thought they did.
