Our 9 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp in March 2016 was a tough challenge. However, it was immensely enjoyable and free from headache, thanks to our wonderful guide Mr Kumar Gautum and his colleagues, especially Bijay, at Experience the Himalayas. Kumar Dai (older brother in Nepali) regaled us with stories about treks, the mountains and Nepal, and while remaining professional and safe at all times, he was like a friend, preventing us from ever feeling bored, frustrated or hopeless (however tired and cold we got).
