I like to try something different each year; this year it was saffron corms purchased from Farmer Gracy. I purchased a hundred corms, they were a good size and planted in good time for an autumn harvest. The corms were well packed, delivered on time and in excellent condition. Having never grown saffron I was not sure what to expect, but it's now November 2 and the saffron has started to flower. Now I have about 15 days of picking out the delicate saffron strands and drying them on kitchen paper for use. Really pleased with my purchase., well done Farmer Gracy
