Purchased some Venum Kontact Evo Shin Guards on a Sunday. Paid for express delivery which was advertised as a Tuesday. Nothing by late Tuesday afternoon, so called asking for an update. Was given a tracking number, but told as I'd ordered Sunday they wouldn't have been delivered until Wednesday (wasn't convinced as most express delivery services would have dispatched Monday and still delivered on Tuesday). Still nothing Wednesday and the tracking number advised the courier was still awaiting the package. Called back Thursday to explain the problem, was advised it sounded like the courier had lost/damaged the item and so Fight Co dispatched a new order for next day delivery which arrived on time. Good of them to do that, although no offer was made to refund the express delivery I'd paid for, which would have been nice! Fight Co were selling cheaper than other retailers so it worked out about the same. Happy with the item itself, tried a few shin guards and settled on these. They seem thing enough to still do a good job at conditioning, but there's enough padding to take the sting out of most impacts (for training/light sparring). They're also much less bulky/restrictive than the other guards I've used, which helps with mobility. They stay in place very well, no risk of them sliding and needing to pull them up, although the downside of this is they take a bit longer to take off.
