This company is awesome as far as I can tell. I doubt we can get truly reduce plastic pollution without changing some habits. I believe that one major habit exacerbating our plastic pollution problem is the prioritization of convenience over sustainability. Some examples are using plastic straws for drinks, plastic forks for food, throwing away hand sanitizer bottles after they're empty.
Final seems to be attempting to curb this problem by creating a variety of products that encourage people to give up a little convenience to help reduce their personal contribution to solid pollution. In my opinion, Final is great at this because they create products that are not only functional, but cool as well. Honestly, carrying their reusable straw around is a little inconvenient for me compared to just getting a disposable straw from wherever I go. But, their straw is pretty cool and feels like a solid product, which, oddly enough, I always feel excited to use because I think it's a cool product. Personally, I find that satisfaction outweighs the inconvenience of carrying an extra item around.
Final has other products aimed at filling a similar need in different categories coming as well. I am very excited to see what they do next.
