Same situation as others, paid £2700 for Invisalign treatment, mid-way through and the practise has gone bust! As i was a student at the time, my husband paid for this treatment using his credit card, but Lloyds Bank (Credit card provider) is coming back and saying that under Section 75 they are not obliged to cover this, as the person making the payment was not the primary recipient of the service. This is ridiculous. Like the rest of you i have been left out of pocket, with no idea now where to turn to (a) continue my treatment and (b) get my money back. The liquidator is only dealing with the main holding company and not helping anyone from child practises. Has anyone had any bettter luck here getting their money back? This sounds like a dental scandal and i am shocked that the Britist Dental Council is doing nothing about it. The practise Directors should be brought to trial for deceit and fraud.
