My kitchen floor looked ok when it was done but I realised very soon that it hasn't been sealed properly. This means that water soaks through to the wood, and any food dropped on the floor leaves an oily mark. After 6 months the floor is a complete mess. I phoned Ian, the owner of the company who carried out the work, to discuss it with him. He was extremely rude and slammed the phone down on me. I have arranged for the floor to be re-done at considerable expense but will be taking legal action.
