My partner ordered some peonies - they are my favourite flowers. i was hopeful that they would be good as I had received a lovely bunch from them previously - a week or two before. the most recent bunch were very poor. you could tell as soon as you opened the box that the buds had been damaged. they barely opened and the flowers that did had only one layer of petals - clearly a variety of peony but not the usual one. I was really disappointed and contacted customer services at the end of the week who in a patronising manner told me flowers are only meant to last three days. i wrote back to pursue it but didn't hear back. all i can say is this bunch were poor, sometimes this happens but the 1 star is due to the poor customer service. i spend £30 on flowers a week at least and have bought them from all sorts of places, locally and on line and i think the quality of these and the service was the worst i have experienced - clearly this doenst happen all the time but you would expect a better response when you have a genuine complaint
