The flowers were delivered - eventually. Instead of being sent to No. 112, they were delivered at No. 32. It seems that the occupants of the latter address had only just bought the property and assumed that the flowers were intended for the previous owner. They contacted the estate agent involved in the sale and, as luck would have it, one of the staff actually knew the intended recipient and was able to make sure they arrived at the right place.
