I would prefer the flowers (Christmas red carnations and gold foliage) in a normal box with some moist tissue around the cut stems- rather than the 'letter box' packing which I would think to be too large for most letter boxes, certainly mine. One recipient was rather disappointed (and ungracious!) concerning the disorganized state of the flowers in the box. (She won't be getting a delivery next Xmas!) Now that mine are in a vase they are in good condition, although I wouldn't want to pay the full £29 for them; the 40% off made them seem better value. I don't think the range of bunches is as good as it used to be, for example, the 'Simply Carnations' bunch is no longer offered.
