I bought the Manfrotto monopod and was pleased with the quick delivery. I'm not sure if it makes a good walking stick, but then I only purchased it for my video camera. I'm looking forward to using it on my next video and being able to zoom in without the picture dancing all over the place.
Well worth the money.
