I used gardening-naturally to provide the timber and aluminium frame for some raised beds. Their website is good but they have a more comprehensive brochure which makes more clear the options available to kit out the beds. The products are very good quality, arrived often within 24hrs and I felt good value. I would like them to be more open about their ‘Gardening Naturally’ ethos. We are all trying to garden more responsibly and they have a good start at some more local, responsibly sourced products and recycled options as well. The cedar boards are UK grown and allegedly felled and replaced in a well described process. However plastic netting and non recycled products are mixed in and surely do not come under the ‘naturally’ title. I do not think they are just paying lip service but I would be happy to pay a premium if they gave a eco rating to their products and provided more information to back up their brand, Come on - set an example and really commit to the brand and help us truly garden, naturally.
