Have always enjoyed keeping a nice neat lawn over the years. Didn’t know what Nematodes were until my lawn over a period time started dying back. After trying different treatments for different lawn diseases with no avail I decided to take the lawn up and re-turf. On removing the turf with a turf cutter I could see thousands of grey larvae about 25 to 30mm long wriggling around, got on the net to identify and found the were leather jackets ( daddy long legs larvae) which feed on the roots of the grass. Most of the sites mentioned Nematodes for helping to get rid of them and Gardening Naturally were the supplier I decided to go to. Their delivery dates I ask for are always spot on and packaging is very good, I have been having 2 deliveries a year from them for the past couple of years one in March and one in September to keep these pesky leather jackets at bay.
