My son has had the insurance less than… My son has had the insurance less than a week and they have cancelled it. The black box was only fitted friday night, so only used Saturday and sunday. There are sooo many discrepancies its alarming. The box wasnt even working or the app over the weekend so i used the car (i have buisness insurance) and most of the journeys are mine, only picking up part of the journey. If it was actually working i would have knocked the app off. Saying i was doing a 50 in a 40 zone which is actually a 60 zone! Doing 27 in a 20 zone past a speed camera, no speeding ticket though! The gps is all out and picking up that he has done 30 miles today with the car not being used. Cancelling his policy without even support, warnings or a discussion. Now impacting him not being able to have insurance at all going forward as you have to declare the cancellation, no one will touch hin to insuring him! Such an unfair desicion made based on inaccurate readings. Would be helpful if we could reach out to others facing this concern in some sort of forum to discuss how they managed this. l will be raising this complaint with the financial ombudsman. They cant get away with this behaviour.
