There are positives and Negatives to any insurer. I've just finished my first year with Carrot and earned a total of £300 cashback! Saved that up and renewed my insurance and it has dropped a considerable amount! Over 50%!
As long as your car is standard, you drive safe and to the box's limits. You have nothing to worry about!
The only downside is the waiting time to the customer service team, But once you get in they resolve your issue straight away.
I recommend going with Carrot for the first 2 years of your driving.
